Privacy and Data Policy

Last updated May 2026

Cap Penalties is a dynasty fantasy sports site run by a small independent team. We try to keep things simple, including how we treat your data. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, and how to opt out.

What we collect

The only personal information we collect is your email address, and only when you choose to subscribe to the newsletter through the signup form on this site. We do not require an account to read rankings, articles, or anything else on the site.

We do not run tracking pixels, third-party ad networks, or behavioral profiling tools on Cap Penalties. We do not fingerprint visitors. Standard server access logs may record IP addresses for short periods for security and abuse prevention.

How we use your email

Your email is used for one purpose: sending you the Cap Penalties newsletter, which contains dynasty rankings, analysis, and related fantasy sports content. We do not sell, rent, or share subscriber lists with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party.

Newsletter delivery is handled by a transactional email service on our behalf. That provider processes your address only to deliver the messages we send, and is contractually bound to not use it for any other purpose.

How to unsubscribe

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you are removed from the list immediately. You can also reply to any newsletter with the word “unsubscribe” and we will remove you manually.

If you prefer to email us directly, write to hello@cappenalties.com and we will delete your address from our records.

Cookies and analytics

We do not set advertising cookies. We may use a privacy-respecting analytics service to count page views in aggregate, without identifying individual visitors or building cross-site profiles. No data is sold or shared with ad networks.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and refresh the date at the top. Material changes that affect existing subscribers will be communicated in the newsletter before they take effect.
